During the last ESCOOP Board of Directors' Meeting, held in Helsinki on the 24th of November 2006, the admission of the following new members has been approved:

1. Savoir et Compétence from Strasbourg, FRANCE,
2. "Κοινωνική Αλληλεγγύη" (Social Solidarity), from Trikala - GREECE,
3. Volkshochschule Hannover - from Hanover, GERMANY,

Several articles have been published on the internet about the foundation of ESCOOP:

• A first SCE has been established as a European Social Cooperative, from the International Organisation of Industrial, Artisanal and Service Producers' Co-operatives (CICOPA). Also available in French and Spanish
• Puglia: nasce a Mola "Escoop", la prima cooperativa sociale europea (in Italian), from the website of the Italian League of Cooperatives (Legacoop).
