Vocational adult education centre which offers both local and national educational services. It represents an institute owned by city of Raahe  hosting around 48 000 students per year. RAAK areas of know-how are: business and administration, cleaning services, immigrant training, information technology, metal industry, logistics, orientation training, social and health care, security training and house construction. It also offers training services to companies with the aim to improve its customers’ competitiveness.

Belonging to the Centre of Social Enterprises "Meijeri", The Norther Community Support Centre PYRY is an organization for team work among association of Northern Finland. Its main activities are related to planning and offering financial services and training for communities.
PYRY is is a member of the European Social Cooperative ESCOOP to represent its members' associations and as a connection to the NGO organisations in the Raahe
region.

The Kemi-Tornio region Development Agency is responsible for the welfare of seven municipalities. The region is situated in a unique international area, beyond borders, sealing the interaction between towns and the living countryside. The total amount of inhabitants in the region is around 80 000, roughly half living in cities and towns and half in the countryside.

The city of Raahe, located in the Finnish region of Northern Ostrobothnia, through its development centre, implements evelopment strategies of team work between the municipalities of the region. Its workis also related to the execution and administration of the district centre, the regional supervision of trading and tourist services as well as the execution of regionalprogrammes and plans.

The Association for the Social Economy of Sea-Lapland was founded in 1997. Its purpose is to encourage the social and economical sustainable development, to organise and administrate national and international projects, and to stimulate labour intensive social services. The association has taken part in different development projects at national as well as international level, working also as a NGO organisation.
The association hosts the Finnish national office of the cooperative.
