The aim of the cooperative is the social-economic and occupational integratlon of people with serious psychosocial dlfficulties and efforts are made to contribute te their treatment as well as their economic self-sufficiency, as much as possible.

 

The number of members that form KOI.S.P.E. "Diaplous" reaches 147, of which 85 members belong to the first category (people with psychosocial dlfflculties), with a minimum percentage of participation at 35%, 49 belong to the second category (mental health professionals) wlth a maximum percentage of participation at 45% and 13 belong to the third category (other individuals or legai entities) with a maximum percentage of participation at 20%.

The cooperative can be involved simultaneously in diverse economic activities whose nature may be productive, consuming, commercial, transporting, tourism, construction, credit, developmental, social, educational or cultural

To achieve its aim the cooperative can:

  • produce or procure and sell all kinds of products and goods.
  • provideall kind of services to third parties
  • carry out on behalf of others all kinds of works (construction, transporting, etc.)
  • following a decision by the Board of Directors, the cooperative may establish and maintain branches or shops anywhere.
  • participate in all kinds of enterprises of publlc utility, provided that this partidpatlon Is allowed by the specific provisions for each case, such as European groups of economic purposes, consortia, limited liability companies, incorporated companies and municipal enterprises.
  • participate in the materialization of developmental programs with other enterprises or companies and collaborate through consortia or projects with other legai entities, companies or other unions that have relevant activities to those of the cooperative.
  • develop, within the frame work of existing legislation, any activity that might contribute to the growth of the member's personality (occupational, cooperative and/or cultural-educational) as well as satisfy its members social needs
